I Pray For the Man Who’s Still Standing but Doesn’t Know Why

A dua for the man who’s still standing but feels lost. This heartfelt prayer speaks to the quiet exhaustion men carry and asks Allah for strength, purpose, and peace. From the Pipe Up series.

PRAYERS AND DUA

I pray for the man who’s tired, but still shows up.
For the brother who walks into every day with no map, no motivation, and no medal waiting at the end—but keeps walking anyway.
He don’t know why he’s still moving.
But somehow, he is.

I pray for the one who’s forgotten what it feels like to be excited.
Who used to have fire in his chest, but now he’s just trying not to burn out.

I pray for the man who’s answering questions no one asked,
solving problems he didn’t cause,
and carrying a body he barely recognizes anymore.
You feel heavy, bro. I know.

I pray for the one who survived so much
that now surviving just feels like standing still.
And that stillness got so loud in your head,
you started wondering if being alive and being awake were the same thing anymore.

I pray for the man who don’t need a miracle—
just a reason to keep believing.

Ya Allah…
Strengthen the steps of every man who feels like he’s walking for no reason.
Remind him that just because he don’t see the purpose yet,
don’t mean You’re not building it under his feet.

Give him peace without performance.
Victory without applause.
Ease without explanation.

Let him rest without guilt.
Let him breathe without shame.
And let him feel—truly feel—that being tired doesn’t mean he’s weak.
It means he’s real.

Ya Rahman…
Place purpose in his next step,
hope in his chest,
and light on his face,
even if he don’t see it yet.

Remind him: standing still is still standing.

Ameen

Remember, we all carry something.
But here, you don’t have to carry it alone.
