An Open Letter To The Stuck: You’re Not Failing—You’re Outgrowing Yourself

Let me pipe up real quick.

You’re not falling behind. You’re just stepping out of an old version of you—and that transition feels like failure, but it’s not.

See, there’s a version of you that was built for survival. He kept you alive when everything felt like it was falling apart. He knew how to numb out, how to stay quiet, how to keep moving even when your soul was screaming. And you gotta respect him for that.

But that version of you? He’s not the one who’s gonna make it to the next level.

Because growth ain’t always a glow-up. Sometimes it’s confusion. Sometimes it’s restlessness. Sometimes it’s wondering why the stuff that used to work don’t work anymore.

You’re not broken. You’re just evolving.

The habits that used to comfort you? You’re starting to question them. The people you used to rely on? You’re starting to see they can’t come with you. The dreams you had a year ago? They feel too small now.

That’s not a crisis. That’s clarity.

And the hardest part? Nobody sees that work. Nobody celebrates you for saying, “I don’t want to move like this anymore.” Nobody claps for that quiet moment when you finally admit, "I’ve outgrown the version of me that’s always angry, always pleasing, always afraid."

But I see you. And I promise you—this shift you're feeling? It’s sacred.

You’re not stuck. You’re stretching. You’re not failing. You’re outgrowing.

Let the old you be proud—but don’t let him hold the pen. You’ve got a new chapter to write.

Remember, we all carry something. But here, you don’t have to carry it alone. Pipe up!
